About

Kelli N. Skinner (BA, BEDs, MArch) has been practicing design since playing with Lego as a toddler.  Her path towards architecture led her to living and working in diverse cities, such as Düsseldorf, Chicago and Tainan (Taiwan), until completing her Masters of Architecture at Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S., in 2005.  

S2studio began in 2007 as a family business, and Kelli became sole proprietor in 2012.  Now working from her small office in North Vancouver, B.C., Kelli provides design consultation and solutions for residential projects of various size.  

Kelli believes in the advantages provided by carefully considered homes, customized to the needs of every client, placing value on quality and sustainable design.  She also prioritizes efficiency and function, respecting the constraints placed on each project by budget and time.

S2studio currently works in collaboration with Jenny Nelson of .NelsonDesign on projects ranging from small renovations to full-scale new builds.  Together, Kelli and Jenny share the ultimate goal of beautiful, healthy homes, executed for functional and timeless living.
